

Exhibition "We stand with Ukraine"
This selection of modern and contemporary works by artists who were born or grew up in Ukraine draws from the Columbus-based collection of Edward Khodorovsky. They are presented here at this time in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
On view from April through July 2022 in Columbus Museum of Art.


Exhibition in Chicago
The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art (UIMA) is pleased to announce Kandinsky: The Rediscovered Bauhaus Sketchbook, an exhibition featuring 15 pages of a newly authenticated sketchbook used by the artist Wassily Kandinsky in 1922.
The Kandinsky Sketchbook exhibit at Capital University is not just for art lovers. The multimedia exhibit combines music and poetry to engage multiple senses and challenges the traditional role of a gallery.
On view from October 16 through November 7, 2021.


Exhibition in Columbus
Art may be subjective, but the talents of Capital students are indisputable. The Kandinsky Sketchbook exhibit at Capital University is not just for art lovers.
The multimedia exhibit combines music and poetry to engage multiple senses and challenges the traditional role of a gallery. In the same breath, patrons can witness private-collection Kandinsky pieces, listen to student-composed pieces, and read poetry created specifically for each sketch.


Exhibition in Kiev
There are only 15 works in this collection from a sketchbook, which consists of 43 sketches. Wassily Kandinsky painted them in 1922, when he had just moved to Germany. These are sketches for his famous painting On White II" said the collector Edward Khodorkovsky, who collected these sketches and brought them to Ukraine.
"I spent 10 years collecting all the evidence from well-known scientists and art historians. Now the originality of the sketches has been fully confirmed by experts.

The gift from the american art collector to the Museum of ukrainian diaspora
Among them a portrait of brunette of the avant-garde artist with the world name of David Burliuk and the graphic work of one of the founders of the creative association "Painters Workshop" Alexander Shevchenko.
Also, especially for the museum, the patron of the arts acquired the first edition of Serge Lifar's book "DANCE", 2 copies of the magazines "Color and Rome", 2 vinyl recordings - Alexander Kosice and Igor Sikorsky.
Works from his own collection were donated by Edward Khodorkovsky.
